The Family of God (Old Testament) – Large Group Lessons (Digital Download)

Overview

These 16 Old Testament lessons and 5 Advent lessons focus on the family of God. Kindergarteners through 5th graders will learn that God is the perfect Father who calls, adopts, and grows His family. They will see that His plan has always been to rescue and dwell with His children. It is our hope that by learning these truths, children will know, love, trust, and obey Him as their good and perfect Father. 

This curriculum is designed to be taught during the fall semester, spanning from the beginning of the school year through Christmas. Biblical events are presented chronologically with Big Truths that build progressively. The Small Group (SGL) and Large Group (LGL) lessons are designed to be taught together as a single, comprehensive lesson.

Description

Family of God Large Group Lessons are scripted lessons designed to be taught in a large group environment. Each lesson contains a teaching overview, supply list, introduction, connection to God’s Big Story, the Bible Lesson, a big truth, and a teacher devotional. Designed for your teachers to have everything they need to teach solid, biblically based, and gospel focused lessons in engaging and developmentally appropriate ways. Lessons are designed to take roughly 15 minutes and are encouraged to be paired with a corporate worship time.

• 16 Old Testament LGL for Kindergarten–2nd graders

• 16 Old Testament LGL for 3rd–5th graders
